Open Division passes 200 registered rosters
Season 5 drew more entries than the first three seasons combined, and most of them were new.

The Season 5 Open Division closed registration with 214 rosters entered, against 87 in Season 4.
The more interesting number is underneath it: 63% of registered players had never appeared in an FCS match before. The Open ladder is doing the job it was built for, which is finding players who were not already in the scene.
Four rosters that entered Season 5 Open as complete unknowns are now in the Challenger Division. One of them, Qvevri Squad, has since beaten two Challenger sides in open qualifiers.
