Registration for the Season 6 Open Division opened this morning and will stay open until 23:59 on 10 November. Entry is free, there is no ranking requirement, and any five players resident in Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan or Türkiye can put a roster in.
The format is unchanged from Season 5. Two Swiss qualifiers run over consecutive weekends, each sending sixteen teams through to a 32-team single-elimination bracket in December. Everything up to the quarter-finals is Bo1 outside of decider matches; from the quarters on it is Bo3.
What changed is what sits at the end of it. The Open winner now takes an automatic Challenger Division slot for Season 6 rather than a qualifier seed, which makes this the shortest route from an unranked roster to a paid division that the series has ever offered. The runner-up keeps the old prize, a direct seed into the next Open main bracket.
A reminder on eligibility, because it caught several teams out last season: every player on the submitted roster must be registered before the first qualifier match, and stand-ins are permitted for a maximum of two maps across the whole qualifier. Rosters found playing an unregistered player forfeit the series and the match.
Teams register through the form on this site. Confirmation and group assignment go out by email on 12 November.
